Cookie Policy
Explains the cookies and similar technologies used on our site, what they are for, how long they last and how you can manage your preferences.
About Cookies
Cookies are small text files that the website you visit saves on your device through your browser. They allow the site to recognize you on the next page or the next visit, to remember your preferences and to work properly. Similar technologies such as local storage serve the same purposes; this policy covers them alongside cookies.
The policy has been prepared with reference to Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”) and the Guidelines on Cookie Practices published by the Turkish Data Protection Authority. The data controller is Sagrosa Gıda ve Teknoloji Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (Büyük Kayacık OSB Mahallesi, 515 Sokak No: 4/1, Selçuklu / Konya). General information on how your personal data is processed is set out in the Privacy Notice.
Types of Cookies
Cookies are classified by three criteria:
- By duration: Session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed; persistent cookies stay on the device for a set period.
- By party: First-party cookies are placed by the domain you are visiting (sagrosa.com), third-party cookies by another domain, an analytics service for example.
- By purpose: Necessary cookies are essential for the site to work and do not require consent. Functional cookies remember your preferences. Performance and analytics cookies produce visit statistics. Advertising and marketing cookies serve interest-based advertising. Cookies other than the necessary ones may be used only with your explicit consent.
The Sagrosa site uses no advertising or marketing cookies and carries no social media plug-ins; the social media icons in the footer are links only. Third-party cookies are used only if you allow analytics cookies, and only within the scope set out below.
Necessary Cookies and Local Storage (Always On)
These records are required for the site to work the way you have asked it to and cannot be switched off. The processing is based on the legitimate interest condition in Article 5/2(f) of the Law. No profile identifying you is built from these records and the data is not transferred to third parties.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sg-cookie | sagrosa.com (first party) | Stores your cookie choice (accept, reject or category selection) and the date of that choice, so that the banner is not shown again on every visit | No expiry — held in local storage and kept until you clear your browser data | Local storage |
The request forms on the site are received through the Netlify Forms infrastructure and delivered to our mailboxes as email notifications; this service does not place a cookie on your browser in order to submit a form. Automated misuse of the forms is prevented by a single hidden auxiliary field (a honeypot); this method uses no cookies and writes nothing to your device. How the data collected through the forms is processed is explained in the Privacy Notice.
Performance and Analytics Cookies (Optional)
These cookies help us understand which pages are visited and how often, and where technical problems occur on the site. Visit statistics are measured with Google Analytics 4; the measurement script is loaded only if you allow it in the cookie banner or the preference panel. The legal ground is your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the Law. Until you allow it, no request is sent from your browser to Google servers and the cookies below are not created.
Once you allow it, measurement starts with Google Consent Mode: advertising and ad personalization signals are sent as denied and only statistical measurement is switched on. Reports show aggregate figures, not individual visitors. As the service is provided by Google LLC (USA), this consent also covers a cross-border transfer; the details are explained in the Privacy Notice. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Manage Cookie Preferences” button below; when you do, measurement stops and the script is not loaded again on later pages.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google LLC (USA, third party) | Distinguishes visitors from one another in order to count page views and sessions | 2 years | Persistent cookie |
| _ga_<measurement ID> | Google LLC (USA, third party) | Maintains the session state; the last part of the name depends on the measurement ID | 2 years | Persistent cookie |
Third-Party Resources and External Links
The fonts used on our pages are served from our own server; no request is sent to a third-party service for a font. No map is embedded on the contact page: the directions link next to the address opens a map service in a new tab and runs only when you click it.
Google Analytics 4, used for visit statistics, is a third-party service as well; it is loaded only if you allow it and its scope is described in the section above.
Links from our site to our own product sites such as linuga.com.tr and to our social media accounts take you to other domains. The cookie and privacy practices of those sites are governed by their own policies.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
The preference panel on the site. The “Manage Cookie Preferences” link at the foot of every page and on this page reopens the preference panel. In the panel you can switch the optional categories on and off one by one; the necessary records cannot be switched off. Accept and reject are offered with equal prominence and no option is preselected. Changes take effect immediately; when you withdraw analytics consent, the cookies concerned are not renewed.
Browser settings. Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies. These settings are usually in the Privacy and Security section of the Settings or Preferences menu (see the help pages of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge and their mobile versions). If you block the necessary records through your browser, your cookie choice cannot be remembered and the banner appears again on every visit; the other functions of the site continue to work.
Manage Cookie Preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time.
Manage Cookie PreferencesYour Rights and How to Apply
You hold the rights listed in Article 11 of the Law in relation to the personal data processed through cookies. Those rights, the ways to apply and the time limits are explained in the Privacy Notice. You can send your request in writing to Büyük Kayacık OSB Mahallesi, 515 Sokak No: 4/1, Selçuklu / Konya or by email to info@sagrosa.com.
Effective Date and Updates
This policy is updated as the cookies we use or the legislation change, and the current version is published on this page. If a new optional cookie category is added, your consent is requested again. Versions in other languages are provided for information only; in the event of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails. Effective date: September 7, 2026.
